Our general tolerances for CNC orthopedic machining of metals is DIN-2768-1-fine and for plastics DIN-2768-1-medium. Tolerances are greatly affected by part geometry and type of material. Our sales executives will consult with you on every orthopedic project and we always aim to provide the best tolerance to you.

FAQ

Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?

We are a  direct factory located in ZhongShan city, Guang Dong, China, with facility over 2000 square meters and 20 CNC machines, including CNC milling-turning compound machines and Swiss-type machines, dedicating to support medical device customers.

Do you also offer design services?

We do not provide design services, but if you are interested, we can offer some DFM suggestions for your design optimization based on our 10+ years of custom manufacturing experience, to find the most cost-efficient way to design and produce your parts.

What information do you need to provide a quotation?

To offer you an accurate and prompt quotation, we need to get your 3D CAD files in STEP or IGES format, preferably also 2D drawings in PDF format for surface and tolerance reference. We also need to know the requested material, quantity, surface finish and your contact details in order to complete the quote with shipping costs to your place.

How fast can you provide a quotation?

After getting your complete RFQ package with all required information, you can expect to receive our quotation within 1-24 hours. For RFQs requiring over 50 different items or multiple quantities, it may take a bit longer up to 36 or 48 hours, but our sales executives will keep close contact with you to keep you posted on the status.

What is your standard lead time for each process? Is it possible to expedite my project?

For CNC machining of prototypes, our typical lead time is 3-10 calendar days; for volume production of many different items it may take 30 to 40 days, depending on complexity and volume of the order. Overall we are highly competitive in speed and we have a good reputation in the market for our fast turnaround. And of course we can also expedite the process for you in urgent cases, we are very flexible to adapt to our customers' needs.

Our precision CNC machining service covers a wide range of worldwide customers, over the 10+ years of experience we have accumulated extensive manufacturing experience in the orthopedic surgery instruments and our customers (mainly in North America and Europe) really appreciate our fast turnaround and reliable quality and also our professional level of communication, all of which makes us stand out from the crowd in the market. So our customers can rest assured that they partner up with the most reliable and professional manufacturer in China to get their parts done perfectly.

How do you control your quality?

(1) Material inspection -- Check the material surface and overall dimension.

(2) First article inspection -- To ensure all features are achieved and tolerance is ok.

(3) In process - inspection -- Check critical features and dimensions during production process.

(4) Pre-shipment AQL inspection -- to ensure all products are all consistent and critical dimensions are met.

Can you provide samples before volume production?

Normally customer orders prototypes first to test and to validate their designs. In case you want to proceed with a volume order directly and agree with our quotation, we are happy to make samples for your testing and approval at our cost before volume production.

What happens (just in case) if your parts do not meet my expectation?

We have worked on over 5000+ projects over the last 10 years and once our customers started buying from us, they rarely leave, we are aiming to build long term cooperation with all our customers and highly customer satisfaction driven, so please rest assured that we take full responsibility if do we not meet your specifications, we will either remake replacements for you or refund the payment to you, to ensure you are happy to buy from us next time.
